Fellow friend and colleague, Tom Harrison of Petersen Paints in Petaluma, CA will be missed. Tom passed away in his home last week in Petaluma at the young age of 52. Tom was one of those guys you can’t help, but like.  He had a way with people. Tom’s positive and caring attitude will be greatly missed in the Paint community (and Petaluma). Whether you walk into Petersen Paints with a frown or upside down day, Tom always had you walking out the door with a smile.

(January, 2013) – Bob Kunst Painting, Inc. has been awarded the well-respected 2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award.  Angie’s List is a website that collects consumer reviews on local contractors and doctors in more than 550 service categories. Angie’s List is a place where consumers can search thousands of unbiased reports and reviews about service companies in specific areas.

The criteria for the award include receiving a minimum number of outstanding reports from Angie’s List members, maintaining an A average on both the reports for 2012 as well as on their overall reports and not being in poor standing with the Better Business Bureau.

The proceeds for this event directly benefit a wide variety of local services within our Down Syndrome Community. These include- educational seminars for parents, self advocates and community members seeking more information about education and advocacy topics related to people with Down syndrome. Other services include-Parent Monthly Meetings, Hope Baskets in hospitals to greet new families, mentoring students from Ursuline, Cardinal Newman, Casa Grande High School, and Santa Rosa Christian High Schools, bowling socials, and teen dances. Bob Kunst Painting’s very own VP, John Busick serves as the Chair Director for this wonderful event. A big Thank you to Bob Kunst himself for coming out and supporting!
